Bertrand Meyer è uno dei pionieri della programmazione object-oriented, con il suo libro Object-Oriented Software Construction, la cui prima edizione è stata pubblicata nel 1988. E' l'inventore della metodologia di sviluppo "Design by contract" e del linguaggio di programmazione Eiffel per il quale nel 2007 ha ricevuto il "Software System Award" dell'ACM. E' Fellow dell'ACM ed è stato Presidente di Informatics Europe.
Abstract:
Agile methods mesmerize the industry; they are a remarkable mix of the best and the worst. The book “Agile! The Good, the Hype and the Ugly” (Springer), sorts out the gems from the gravel. This talk pursues the same goal: enabling the listener to decode the agile message, stay away from awful advice, and benefit from brilliant agile insights.
